A Quick Word

My passion for sports developed at a young age when an expansion team joined the NHL in the 1998-99 season. I attended the first game of the Nashville Predators’ inaugural season when I was just two years old. Little did I know how much of an impact that game would have on my life, and ultimately my career. My love for sports grew as I did in age, and by the time I was a teenager I knew what I wanted to be when I grew up and unlike every other little girl it was not a princess or a doctor—it was a sports reporter. There is just something so special about sports, maybe it’s the way it brings people together, or maybe it’s the athletes and their incredible stories—but whatever it is, I know covering them is what I was
born to do.
